Dan goes by "minotaur15" on the Message Board and in the Chat Channel. The Aero is the second MCSS in the family, currently owned by Dan's mother (later to be his), and a beauty indeed. They found it with 25k original miles for a mere $7000 - a good price for even a notchback SS. It has run a 16.08 @ ~86 MPH as tested by a G-Tech with an additional passenger, so it might break the 16 second barrier with only a driver doing the testing. Not a bad time for a stock Aero! Additional pictures can be seen on Dan's website at http://www.einsweb.com/minotaur15/.
Right Rear, Right Side, Front andWalter Chapman's 87 Aerocoupe
Walter bought this car early in the winter of 1988. It was a demo with 4500 miles on it being one of three Aerocoupes they had left. The sales manager at the local chevy dealership had it. He had driven it to Earnhardt Chevrolet and Dale had been at the dealership that day and the salesman had spoke to Earnhardt and he saw the car and commented that he was driving "one of his cars", which makes it a little special (maybe)? It does to Walter anyway, as Dale was his favorite NASCAR driver. Walter will never forget the pass in the grass in the "Wrangler" car. The car now has a little over 32,000 miles on it. The only thing he's done to it is changed tires to 235R6015 TA's. Right Side ViewJason Gibson's 87 Aerocoupe

The 88 notchback (partially pictured in the back) has L98 Corvette heads, a 272/282 .442/.465 cam, Flowtech headers, 2.5" true duals, 40 series 2 chamber Flowmasters, Performer intake, open element air cleaner and roller rockers on the L69 block. The 88's best ET is 13.1@106 and the 87 has never seen a strip. The 88 is about to get a 400 short block transplant this Summer, and the 87 is looking at a supercharger and some Trick Flow heads.Matthew Stoessner's 87 Aerocoupe
Matthew recently had his chrome tips put on and found out the car already had glass pack exhaust. He also had NASCAR yellow letter Goodyear Eagle tires put on.

Matt bought the car in 2001. He had the inerior totally redone. The seats were reapolstered. He put in the carpeting. When he origianlly pulled up the carpeting he found the floor was rotted in multiple spots from leaky t-tops seals. He welded in new metal and the car is solid as a rock. Its 100% original 305 with 136K miles on it. It's soon going to have a rebuilt trans with B&M shift kit. He's going to have the motor rebuilt due to the high miles and it will have a base clear coat black paint with new original striping.

Jamie bought this car on 2/3/06. This car has never been touched! All original factory equipment! This car has not one rust spot. No dents, clean interior. Jamie just started on the simple mods (Performance Distributor, Plat 4 plugs and 7mm wires.), more to come (Dynomax Mufflers, MP3 player, new speakers inside). FrontDarryl Rios' White 87 Aerocoupe
Darryl's Aerocoupe has just over 217,000 miles now. Still has original 305HO engine, the only thing he's changed is the timing chain, and the normal wear and tear items. The original alternator just went out at 197,000 miles, so he can't complain. The only thing he wants to do to this car is to get it painted back to the original white, you know the mid 80's GM paint wasn't the best. He has a 6 disc CD player under the seat hooked up to the original radio. He drives this car hard everytime they go out, maybe that's why she has lasted so long. Left Side, Left Rear, Front, Interior
